Alphie Training, LLC, (“Alphie”) values our website visitors and recognizes that privacy is important to you. We want you to be familiar with how we collect, use, and disclose data.
This Privacy Statement describes the privacy practices of Alphie for data that we collect through the following means:
Our website alphietraining.com, which is owned and operated by us, from which you are accessing this Privacy Statement (the “Website”)
Partner websites not operated by us but running or hosting essential services for Alphie (the “Partners”)
Our social media pages that we control from which you may be accessing this Privacy Statement (collectively, our “Social Media Pages”)
Regular or HTML-formatted email messages that we send you that may link to this Privacy Statement and through direct contact (the “Communications”)
Collectively, we refer to the Website and our Social Media Pages as the “Online Services.” All online services together with the Communications make up the Alphie Customer Services (the “Customer Services”). By using the Customer Services, you agree to the terms and conditions of this Privacy Statement.
Collection of Personal Data
“Personal Data” is information that can identify you as an individual or relate to an identifiable individual. Alphie, LLC, does not collect any information from you when browsing the Website other than as described in the section Cookies below. However, there are several specific activities that you may choose to do on the Website which will generate or require some form of personal data. To see how this data can be removed, read the section How You Can Access, Change, or Suppress Personal Data. Some Personal Data is required by vendors we use to provide functionality (the “Partners”).
When using the “Contact” function on the Website, it uses your browser’s functionality to open a new blank email message in your default email software which you can send to us. All emails sent to Alphie and the information you choose to share in sent emails will be stored by G Suite by Google Cloud, which provides email service to Alphie.
If you choose to sign up for the Alphie product release newsletter, the information you provide, which will include an email address, will be stored by MailChimp.
We recommend that you consult each of the Partner’s websites listed above for their respective privacy policies before you enter any data on their respective websites.
Use of Personal Data
Any information provided by you is used to understand your needs and provide a better service.
We do not sell our customer data. Nor do we disclose this information to third parties except where we use those third parties (listed here as our Partners) to provide a service such as delivery and receipt of email communications, hosting the website or online meetings, etc.
We may use your information to serve you in the following ways:
Respond to your comment or request
Send periodic emails and to contact you for market research purposes
Provide you access to content, shared files, or training resources
Personalize your website experience
Improve our products or services based on your needs
We are privacy and security conscious and take reasonable measures to protect your data. Please do not include information that you do not wish to disclose in our “Contact” form or blog post comments. When working with customers directly, we ensure that a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) is in place to confidentially share more sensitive information.

How You Can Access, Change, or Suppress Personal Data
If you would like to review, correct, update, suppress, restrict or delete Personal Data that you have previously provided to us (such as a contact form message or comment on a blog post), or if you would like to receive an electronic copy of your Personal Data for purposes of transmitting it to another company (to the extent this right to data portability is provided to you by law), you can use the form under “Contact” on the Website or email us at info@alphietraining.com. We will strive to comply with your request in a reasonably timely manner.
In your request, please make clear what Personal Data you would like to have changed, whether you would like to have your Personal Data suppressed, or other limitations you would like to put on our use of your Personal Data. For example, if you choose to have a comment removed from one or more blog posts, provide the blog post name, date, and any other relevant information.
To remove yourself from our Mailchimp list, you may edit or remove your information through the links provided in our product release newsletter or on our website. If you opt out of receiving emails from us, we may still send you important administrative messages, from which you cannot opt out.
For your protection, we only fulfill requests for the Personal Data associated with the particular email address that you use to send us your request, and we may need to verify your identity before fulfilling your request.
Please note that we often need to retain certain data for recordkeeping purposes and/or to complete any transactions that you began prior to requesting a change or deletion (eg, when you make a purchase, or enter a promotion, you may not be able to change or delete the Personal Data provided until after the completion of such purchase or promotion). The data controller, its legal representative, and the relevant Data Protection Officer may be contacted using the methods listed above. Please be aware that where GDPR applies you have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent data protection authority. European Union Minors’ Privacy: Where GDPR applies, we do not knowingly collect Personal Data from children under age 16 (or such lower age permitted under applicable local law not being lower than age 13).
International Transfer: If you are located where GDPR applies, information that we collect (including through cookies) will be processed and stored in the United States. The appropriate cross-border transfer method governing Personal Data included in such transfers is the EU Standard Contractual Clauses agreement pursuant to EC Decision 2010/87/EU.
